Children and adolescents should do 60 minutes or more of physical activity each day according to the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (DPHP). Aerobic activity should make up most of these 60 minutes. A portion of this time should also include 3 days per week of muscle strengthening and 3 days per week of bone-strengthening activities.
